Good

Pleasant staff and comfortable room. Plentiful breakfast and well cooked.Very nice place to stay.

Good value for money, meals basic but ok

WiFi connection, friendly staff, good beer gardens and Lovely location and area to visit

Poor view from my room at rear onto corrugated steel farm buildings and courtyard which would benefit from a tidy up.Would not have been so bad if hotel had been full as I understand someone has to have rear rooms sometime but would have made stay even more pleasant to have front room.

The location itself is very nice and the pub looks quite inviting from the outside. On arrivsal the staff looked miserable. The room was ok but smelt of smoke, so much so that we had the windows open most of the time and it didn't make much difference. The pillows were the lumpiest thing I have laid my head on. My girlfriend and I were one of the first down for breakfast but surprisingly one of the last to have our order's taken. The 'older' guests had their orders taken as soon as they sat down but we were left waiting for a good 15 minutes. The breakfast was ok but small, one rasher of bacon, one sausage and egg, some beans and some cremated mushrooms. I was surprised at the low quality of the sausage considering that the hotel is in the middle of some of the best farm land in the country.On the plus side the pub does have some good beer!However eventhough we booked for 2 nights, we only stayed the one and returned home early!

Staff not very happy looking. Room smelt of smoke. Shower was a dribble. Food was poor.

EXCELLENT STAY AND THE BREAKFAST WAS PIPING HOT N VARIED. WE COULDNT FAULT THE FULL ENGLISH

ECELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY. WE HAVE A SMALL DOG SO IT WAS GREAT WE COULD TAKE HIM ALONG

FELLOW RESIDENTS WERE A BIT NOISY COMING IN LATE AFTER A NIGHT OUT, SO R DOG WAS BARKING A BIT. THE BEDS WERE ONLY 3/4 WIDTH SO WOULD LIKE A PROPER SIZED DOUBLE OR EVEN A KINGSIZE
