A lovely Hotel - shame about the noise

Food and accomodation were very good, all the staff were very efficient and friendly

The Karaoke was in the room directly below us and continued until after midnight. We were not warned when booking the room or on checking into the room on the Saturday evening. If we had known we would not have stayed.

My husband and I and my 82 year old father stayed for the weekend. All of us found the hotel lovely and my father is planning a weeks stay there on his own in the Autumn as he found every one so helpful and he says he would not feel uncomfortable being there on his own. Just wonderful.

Staff could not be more helpful. We were visiting friends in Mablethorpe so left car at the hotel. Staff always called a cab for us and nothing was too much trouble for them.

No bad points.

clean well fitted bedroom, nice bedlinen

tiny shower room with toilet. No hot water. Had to ask for a hairdryer, food menu poor - only carvery on Sundays

It was all that we expected it to be. We are looking forward to going back again, when the weather is better & hopefully get to see the beach not covered in snow

On the whole, considering we stayed it was snowing & very cold outside. The warmth & friendliness of staff & owner, more than made up for the unfortunate weather we experienced. The hotel food was great with a good selection on the menu. The added bonus we experienced was the other guests that were also staying, were all excellant company and had all stayed there umpteen times before. so what more can one say.
