Staff helpful...useful location

Although the room was well decorated...the bathroom smelled strongly of mould and because the bathroom door would not shut properly the bedroom smelled too.

Was very clean and the staff most helpful. Car park was locked earlier than we expected, but the receptionist was happy to open up for us. Was surprised to find the mews building our room was in, but they were nice inside and very quiet.

Very nice indeed. I think the hotel perhaps does not do itself credit with its decor as it is a lovely building and could be made lighter - it is a little somber for my taste.

The staff were extremely kind and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was very pleasant with lots of fresh fruit - which happens to be exactly what I wanted. I asked for a sandwwich on Sunday evening as I did not want a full meal and the one that turned up was absolutely beautifully presented and v good value as well as being extremely tasty.

There was some noise at night but this was due to there being some work being undertaken in the kitchen. Apologies were made as was an explanation. Stairwells were a little scruffy.

reception helful, room service for dinner was ok

car parking nightmare, not big enough. i also must have had the smallest room in the world..., shower head was a nightmare - did not fit into the holder so had to hold it...
