We went to Bowness for a few days holiday to relax and walk at our leisure, the hotel was ideally situated out the way of the main road but within easy walking distance of both Bowness and Windermere.Martin gave us a map on arrival and gave us a few points of interest. He also had a good assortment of leaflets and information.I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing break.

Beautiful and comfortable room, extremely clean and well equipt,breakfast was to a high standard with a good choice. Martin very helpful.Ample parking.

An excellent hotel that we will use again and recomment to friends.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and a superb room. We couldn't have asked for anything else.

cleaniness, food, service, all ok.

Room desciption misleading. Hand basin hot water was scolding. Value for money poor. Substandard over priced room ruined the weekend.

Our host made us feel very welcome on arrival and showed us to our large comfortable room. Full cooked breakfasts are first class with fruit, juice and cereals also available. Location is good for exploring the Lake and surrounding area. We made the right choice for our relaxing break.
