VERY BAD AND UNPLEASANT

STAFF WERE APPROACHABLE AND FRIENDLY

THE BED DID HAVE A HEADBOARD AND THE MATTRESS WAS NOT COMFORTABLE. THE CARPET WAS DIRTY AND THE WASH HAND BASSIN TAP WERE FILTHY. THE SHOWER HEAD WERE FULL OF LIME SCALE, HIGH RISK OF LEGIONNAIRES. THE SHOWER TRAY DRAIN IS BLOCKED. NO HAND WASH OR SOAP TO WASH HAND WITH. NO HAND TOWEL WAS PROVIDED ONLY A BATH TOWEL WAS PROVIDED AND LOOKED SHABY. THE WARDROBE DID NOT LOOK SAFE THE BACKING IS COMING OFF.

For the sake of a a bit of work painting and weeding, the whole exterior of the place was a let down. First impressions count.

Breakfast and all the staff were excellent.

We thought the place was derelict when we arrived, peeling paint work, especially the front door and planters with prize weeds in the front and also covering what would be an excellent rear dining area. Not being told there was no remote for the TV, which had no manual controls, was stuck on high volume and BBC 1.

We wnjoyed our stay as always, we will be back

Cosy, good location and excellent breakfast

TV didnt have a volume control, but no big deal

ok for 1 night

hotel was in a good location. Breakfast was good but a bit regimented.

On the night we stayed there was kareoke in the bar which went on until after midnight. No extras in room, ie hair-dryer, shampoos etc.
