Posted by Fran (2008-07-01) Would stay there again but would ask for a room on possibly a higher floor. Very close to the tube (which later turned out to be a major problem, next door in fact. Just where I wanted to be opposite Hyde Park. Nice clean single room, facilities in room very good. Was not told that room was directly above the tube station, noise was over powering at times. Was told on arrival that they had no reservation in my name and that I would have to go back after 15:00 hrs. As I had an appointment I had to telephone in to ensure that I did have room for the night, a little bit scary when you are a lone female traveller. |
