Was excellent until seriously marred by the bad parking experience.

Cleanliness was notable. I particularly liked the "pod" bathroom - good shower. Staff were friendly & happy to supply extra pillows & towels.

Car parking was very unsatisfactory. Access to the upper car park is extremely tight - we were in a medium sized estate car and very thankful it was nothing larger. On return to the hotel finding no spaces on the ground floor we arain went up into the upper floor to find no spaces there either. Turning was not easy and then we found another car coming up the one-way ramp at the same time we were trying to get down, despite the green light being on for us! We were not at all impressed to then be told at reception that we had to drive to off-site parking some distance away and walk back to the hotel. Bearing in mind we had paid ��5 for our parking and were at no time (booking or check in) told of the possibility that we would not get on-site parking.
