Functional

Clean, functional. Breakfast not bad

TV remote onle had one battery and no battery cover - only discovered this at 11.30 at night and too much hassle at the time to chase this up.Hotel has no character, but it's relatively new and in London so perhaps shouldn't expect more.

Chose hotel for it's particular location (close to Sadler's Wells) and, whilst the cost was more than we had originally intended, we had a very comfortable, enjoyable stay - so it was worth it.

Having both an opening window and air conditioning was very welcome as we are both fresh-air fiends for bedrooms. Foyer lounge seating very comfortable (especially the higher armchairs - good for the less able).

Very pleasant, good value for money.

The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom facilities were good and the staff were very helpful. Easy to find a bus back to Paddington Station the next day.

The remote control for the television did not work. The cooked food at breakfast could have been a bit hotter.
