Good except food cost.

Lovely hotel lovely setting and pleasant attentive staff.Nice room, very quiet, good bed and facilities. Nice outside sitting area for a summer evening.

All great except dinner menu was generally too expensive for a regular business traveller.There is a nice pub just down the lane providing good food, so perhaps the hotel should take note of this alternative. I discovered that a number of hotel guests actually eat at the pub. Breakfast price of ��17.50 was frankly ridiculous.I therefore had breakfast elsewhere.

Very plesant stay, halfboard deal was great value for money.Meals are high quality, beautiful period elegant surroundings.

Fantastic breakfast,large room ,very polite friendly staff,beautiful mature landscaped grounds with bunnies and squirrels.

No lift

On checking in the receptionist was very surly and unpleasant. She should really try to be more welcoming and smily.
