The problem most definitely looked as though it lay with the management of the hotel and I can say that the junior waiting staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly. I would actively dissuade anyone from going to stay here and I am sad that I have to say that. It really let us down.

The shower and the phone didn't work. We asked for help with the shower 3 times and nothing changed and we were not even offered a nominal sum off for hassle factor. The check in was appalling. We were sent to the wrong bar for our 'bar' meal and after ordering a bottle of wine and beer had to be moved to another building entirely.

Forest Hills Hotel is a beautiful, friendly, welcoming, clean, home from home hotel, there is nothing else that can be said, apart from the staff work extremely hard, they are caring and take pride in what they do.

It was extremely comfortable (home from home), clean, superb provisions in hotel rooms, tea, coffee etc, what else can I say but brilliant!!

Overall our stay was very enjoyable and facilitated a very pleasant, relaxing weekend break. The room was excellent, food was excellent and the service was very good. The ambience of the hotel and surrounding grounds and countryside was wonderful. All staff were friendly and helpful. The directions to the hotel on the website could have been a little more detailed and clear.

Comfortable, spacious, the view from the window! Food was excellent and service was very good.

Nothing springs to mind.

Location and friendly staff

The very early checkout 10.30 am on a Sunday! Lack of parking near the hotel when events are being held. Cleanliness of the hotel following events.
