Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others as the breakfast incident could easily be a one off and the staff, location and room were top class.

Excellent, friendly staff. The receptionist at check in was particularly pleasant and helpful as were the staff at breakfast. Room very clean and well presented, spacious too.

Sadly, although my breakfast order was taken promptly it was some time before it arrived. I was not impressed by the dried up bacon nor the item on the plate which I had specifically asked to be omitted.

Very enjoyable

Lovely location, peaceful, well mannered friendly and curteous staff

Lousy cell phone reception, having to get out of bed to switch off side lights

Beautiful building, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, pretty surroundings, good food; what more could you ask for?

Nothing. Solo dining is always a bit strange as a female, so being placed at a table in the dining room with this in mind was much appreciated.

Didn't need to know anything as we had already stayed at the hotel before. A lovely hotel
