Excellent value for money, and we'd all definately stay again.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom premium apartment, which was great value for money. The apartment was spacious, and a lot more roomy than a hotel room. They seem to be resolving the check in process mentioned in previous reviews, whereby a member of staff can give you the key rather than trying to retreive one from a combination box! Room was clean & tidy & well kitted out.

Finishing touches in the room were a bit poor (kick boards in kitchen etc) but nothing that spoiled our stay at all. We had a room on the side, but the front faces some less plush flats, that could be noisy.

Good but marred by poor communication before hand.

Wrong code left for key box. only person available to sort out was the cleaner!Confirmation of change of booking (by yourselves) not sent out by email. Only sent when i had chased it 5 times and repeatedly called when no-one had got back to me.

Modern fixtures and fittings.

The apartments are located in among social housing. There were two burned out card next to the Marlin Apartments, the lock on the front entrance door was broken and the street was poorly lit. The location is totally unsuitable for this type of accommodation. There were no staff at the apartments when I arrived and I had received no instructions on how to get into the apartments. As a single female arriving at night I was placed in a very frightening situation. Finally, A security guard in the building next door contacted the Marlin staff by phone and passed on the instructions on how to get the keys to the apartment. The communal areas were dirty and so were cupboard handles in the apartment. Also, the apartment was stiflingly hot without air condition and only a balcony door which, for security reasons, couldn?t be left open.

Satisfactory, room very nice and clean... did not receive the promised breakfast pack for 3+ night stay.Still also awaiting a invoice
