At short notice we got this room at a greatly reduced rate (��55 for a room probably costing over ��100), meaning it's better quality than I usually stay in. Everything good from spacious and light room to good choice of TV, good breakfast (Sunday breakfast from 6am which was vital to us because of travelling we needed to do. Many hotels start breakfast as late as 8am on Sunday, which would have been no good to us, we left not long after 7am), and very helpful reception staff.

Excellent room which we got at greatly reduced rate, particularly good reception staff. Early Sunday breakfast.

Overall OK

Hotel clean, food good, room layout good, parking good, location good, additional facilities good.

My on line booking didn't debit my visa card - had to pay at receptionReceptionist appeared rather cold & clinicalSafety notice for sauna obstructed by a towel cabinetA towel hook by the sauna shower would be helpful

The accommodation was good value for the price of ��60 per room per night but I wouldn't have been happy if I'd paid much more than that. The breakfast needed much more care and organisation. The chef seemed to be the one who was picking up most of the shortfalls and trying to keep up. The waiting staff need to be much more visible and attentive.

Room was clean and tidy and both the bed and the sofa bed had been made up

Pillows on the main bed were uncomfortable and square. No spares were provided. Toilet separate from the bathroom but had no sink so you couldn't use it when someone was in the bathroom as there was nowhere to wash your hands. Breakfast on Monday morning was dreadful - disorganised with no staff. We didn't get any tea or coffee and many of the basic items such as sliced bread, butter, milk, fruit salad had run out and not been replenished. Also the room information said two different times that breakfast was served - all the information should say the same thing, guests shouldn't be expected to work it out for themselves!
