My boyfriend treated me to a couple of nights at Oakley Court for my 30th birthday. The hotel is very grand, with so much character. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, set right on the river bank. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we found our room very warm and they kindly bought a fan up to our room. Our room was spaciuos and clean, with a lovely view of the grounds and river. Breakfast was great, excellent service and a great selection. We used the spa which I have to say was not of the same standard as the rest of the hotel. It felt a little run down and the changing rooms were not that clean. Overall I loved my stay here and would definitely return.

Beautiful lodging and location.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Well kept. Attentive staff. Food was good. Breakfast, too. Thank you for the air conditioning in hotel rooms; it was hot outside. Internet access good.

No hand washcloths (may be a cultural thing in the UK) in the bathrooms. No ironing board or iron in the room. High school leavers' ball seemed to be going on. Someone at the hotel could have helped to direct traffic to the side of the hotel. The teens were all over the road and we had to wait a while for the limos to get through. Wish Internet access was free or limited.

Fabulous! This was our second visit to Oakley Court but not our last.

What a wonderful experience! We love this historic mansion surrounded by emaculately groomed grounds alongside the Thames. The bar, restaurant, patio, furnishings are all charming & lush. Our room was large, clean & quite comfortable. Thanks for the lovely view through our windows. All employees were friendly & helpful.

The only things we might have liked would have been washcloths & an ice machine somewhere in our building - yes, we are Americans.

The concierge was outstanding.

Room not ready until 4 pm, charged for childrens breakfast having been told each day that breakfast was included in the room rate.
