No river view in our bedroom, we guess at weekend a wedding party probably booked rooms well before. Food and bar drinks not cheapCar park seemed almost full when we arrived 6pm but appeared very few guestsLong walks indoor and outdoor between room/ carpark/ bar and restaurantLift old, rather frightening

overall, it was acceptable

I liked the fact you had a gym. one girl on recpetion was REALLY helpful and a good laugh. if it helps to identify, when we signed in on friday 17th July, she commented on the fact that she liked our car?

I KNOW the hotel is being refurbished, however there is no need to allow people to stay in a room, where the curtains are badly ripped, also if you have builders in why have them working at 7:30am!!!! we arrived late, the night before and then to be rudely awoken by them at that time was not acceptable! and on both days, when trying to leave the car park your builders parked directly behind my car!!! not having coat hangers!!! your a hotel!

Adequate taking into account the above situation.The hotel is in an excellent position.

room 203 not at required standard. This was partly due to builders' scaffolding blocking the window and noise from their working. Also the drains in both the wash basin and bath were pretty well blocked and there ws a resulting smell. This room should not have been used, however the staff were able to offer another room which was OK.

Good vaule for money. Rooms need updating.

Great location. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Good parking.

Building works and parts of the hotel were closed and to get to the lifts if meant we had to walk through a wedding reception.

Good

The hotel reception staff, particularly Christine, were extremely helpful. She checked if my son, 17.5years old, was able to stay on his own and it was agreed with the management that this was ok. Lawrence, my son, was looked after very well

nice staff but under manned to many other functions being held AT THE HOTEL SO UNABLE TO ACSESS THE BAR FACILITY
