Lovely location, with good walks from the hotel. An excellent short break.

Friendly staff. Good food. Very comfortable room.

Very peaceful, good location, very picturesque, lovely walking area round the lakes and in the woods.

Overall the hotel was very good, the grounds were lovely and there was plenty to see. Food was very good and staff were very friendly/ helpful.

They had a problem with the boiler, subsequently we had no hot water, however, they did their very best to resolve the situation, even calling the maintence officer from off-duty to fix the problem. We were upgraded to another room for the in-convenience, however, the hot water had affected the whole hotel. We did get hot water within 3 hours though.

Delightful restaurant and setting. Helpful staff. Comfortable rooms, hotel full of character.

Very happy with the quality, service, setting and the breakfast was very good.

Luxury Hotel in very nice country setting, excellent service the breakfast was very good

First room we were taken to was cold without the heating on (it was 2 - 3 degrees C outside and it was a small room , however we were quickly moved to a warm and spacious room.
