Some staff tried hard to help but seemingly were let down by night staff. This is a well positioned hotel for the station and could be good with some investment. Overall impression though is shabby. Receptionist tried hard to help and breakfast resturant staff were very pleasant.

Convieniently positioned. Car parking. Big breakfast.

Room was noisey such that the window had to be closed. Therefore hot and stuffy. Shower did not work at all. Reported this but nothing done. Early morning call despite booking it and reminding front desk did not happen. Room was a bit dirty and the bed cover was a) unsuitable to sleep under as it weighed a ton and b)was not clean. Heated towel rail burns your knee when sat on the loo !! Could'nt get the plug out of the bath when having a bath as the shower did'nt work.

GOOD APART FROM MISSED BREAKFAST

LOVELY ROOM, VERY COMFORTABLE

CHEF LATE IN SO MISSED COOKED BREAKFAST ON MY SECOND MORNING, TRAIN TO CATCH.

Overall apart from the bad points we would stay at the Crewe Arms again.

Rooms were clean and breakfast was good.

The shower in our room was useless, the water just trickled out and when you put water into the sink with the plug in the water just disappeared down the plug hole.
