Wanting to make the most of the one day we had in Brighton, we arrived early (around 10.30 am), assuming we would be able to leave our case safely at the hotel until check-in in the afternoon. However, we found the system for leaving luggage less than satisfactory: cases had to be left in a room to which anyone in the foyer seemed to have access and no receipts or cloakroom tickets were given. The staff did point out that articles were left at our own risk but we did not want to carry our case around for four hours so did not really have an option. We would have been much happier if the luggage could have been kept in a secure area, for example behind the reception desk. |

The bar was very stylish with friendly staff and great cocktails. The breakfast had a great selection and was delicious. The location of the hotel is fantastic, short walk from The Lanes, pier, Brighton dome/pavilion etc.Would love to come back and stay again. Great value for money, spacious clean room, large bathroom, everything you need

The standard of the refurbishment is poor and the decor has been cheaply done and alot of the fixtures of fittings do not compliment each other. The front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant as well as the staff in the restaurant. The english breakfast was excellent. Comfortable bed and lovely view of the sea. Refurbishment of a poor standard. |

Would like to have been warned how noisy the area was at night as it was difficult to sleep we were given a free upgrade to a suite which was fantastic the road on the seafront was very noisy all night |
