lovely room with a great view . good food ,friendly staff we enjoyed ourselves at this hotel

we went on holiday by trike so had a trailer on the back . whenever we went out the staff would chain off our parking space so it was empty for our return which was much appreciated so the bikes were near the hotel entrance .we received excellent service from this hotel .

Overall very good value for money. Lovely character building and very friendly , helpful staff. We enjoyed it and will recommend it but would like to see more pressure in the shower water. Rooms were very clean. Many thanks

Friendly and very helpful receptionist. We had three rooms, Room 26 was excellent and spacious, rooms 16, and 17 not quite so. Friendly bar staff. General setting, decoration and ambience was excellent. Chef came to table and was very helpful and friendly.

Poor water pressure for shower in room 26.Waiter/waitress at evening meal did not properly listen to, or perhaps, could not understand us, and hence brought wrong dessert meals.

If they fixed the shower it would be fine. Otherwise, it was generally OK.

Generally clean and friendly, perfectly adequate for overnight stay. Easy to find. Breakfast cooked to order.

Shower was not consistenly warm and had to be held, there was no bracket to hang it on the wall.

We have stayed at the Rose and Crown in October and our room and bed was smaller this time but still goood value for our money.
