Well positioned hotel for visitng surrounding areas and attractions in Snowdonia region

Clean towels everydayFriendly and helpful staffFood quality very good

Portions of food could have been more generous and sometimes served hotter

If you are visiting the North Snowdonia area but want a good location for the coastal attractions as I was, you couldn't do much better than stay at the Royal Sportsman.

Excellent location in Porthmadog being right on the main st. The staff were friendly and helpful when required and the single room was of a good size with a decent bathroom.

Not a bad point but a nice quirk was the slightly sloping floor but the squeaky floor did get a little annoying at times.

We enjoyed our stay and would definately return if we were in the area.

Clean, friendly and comfortable.

None to complain about excep[t that the duvet was a little heavy for our taste.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Staff were always polite and helpful. Restuarant and bar meals excellent,Room very comfortable.

Room could have been warmer,Never understood why hotels have strange Teabag brands.

OK; if convenient is good then cost effective option at last minute prices

Quiet hotel despite being close to main road. Food is in attached pub - good quality & value so long as choice is OK.

Pre-booking means any meals or drinks are separately charged & billed at point of use; not added to bill.Single rooms are compact!
