I have used this hotel for years as for business at the local hospital it is super convenient with on-street parking, free wifi, and nice rooms and good breakfast, if you tire of the sameness of cookie-cutter chain hotels give this one a try! PS other eateries short walk away

Comfortable room and very friendly staff. Good location. However, no dinner, pricy and breakfast is limited.

Very friendly service. Room was very comfortable and of a high standard. Towels were changed daily. Staff flexible to accommodate my needs re price and date of departure. Good location.

No biscuits in the room. No one at reception when I first turned up to check in at 17h15. Receptionist later told me that he was cleaning up a mess in the kitchen. This would suggest some staff shortages.Variety of items of food on offer at breakfast was limited (no mushrooms). Coffee was average.No dinner offered on site. You would expect dinner being available with a hotel of this quality. Vague explanation was given as to why that was.Expensive, for what was offered.Overhead light in bathroom burnt as soon as I plugged my electric rasor in the plug on located on the side of the light.No parking attached to the hotel and I had to park on a narrow street, increasing risk to the car.

Left alone to get on with your business.

Disappointed that it didn't state on the website that the full Scottish breakfast was not available on a Monday morning.

Reasonable but could have been better.

Clean, tidy and friendly.

Further from town than indicated (over a mile). Neither of the 2 advertised hotel restaurants were open and even the breakfast menu was limited with no price reduction for stay.
