Really expected en suite. Room was like a prison without TV. We made the best of it.

Hotel was clean. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. Staff were adequate.

Could only pay with cash. Rooms are same price ,en suite or not, sea view or not. Room was small. Landlady never introduced herself. TV did not work (no reduction in bill) Bar looked redundant. No hot water in room.

Friendly and clean. After pointing out a problem in the bathroom the manager very promptly repaired the broken door. He also was very polite and charming to his guests.

Typical of England the bathroom was a disaster. The toilet doesn't flush with one press, the shower door doesn't fit properly,the shower has no pressure and the thermostat works randomly, the was little/no hot water in the sink,the television was very complicated for technophobes, the bed too many layers and the one bedside light didn't cover both sides of the bed.Breakfast was served using a system that is unique but strangely effective - until more than one table turned up for breakfast. On our last day due to four rooms arriving at once for breakfast we were late for our ferry and had to wait two hours for the next one.That said this hotel was only as bad / good as what I have come to expect of English Bed and Breakfast Hotels and therefore the manager should take nothing personally.

I thought for what I paid that the hotel was very good, very efficient staff, especially at breakfast.

The room was tiny but had all the facilities you needed

I enjoyed staying here and found it very good value for money for the area.

Very friendly staff who went out of their way to help me...and the room had a fantastic view over the park, tennis courts and down to the sea. Much nicer than I imagined it would be when I found it on the internet site.

The decor of the room was a little twee! The breakfast time of 08.30 was also a little early for me for a Sunday!
