Would not go back there - for ��60 for a double room, you can get much better value elsewhere

Room and bed were cleanConvenient for train into CardiffOnly had to stay one night

"Continental breakfast" was very poorExterior of hotel makes it look like a dump - the car park especially was a dump.

it was very nice we were told by a lady at the hotel to get of the wrong stop barry docks is closer

The hotel was nice,even though it has a very bad reputation,it was clean and tidy.the staff were friendly and helpful.it was nice that the room had 3 beds was expecting only 2.

The kettle was dusty,one of the beds were broken,would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast

We only booked it because we were going to the Take That concert. Everything in Cardiff was booked. We would never stay in this hotel again and wished we had driven home after the concert.

train station was 10 minutes away and it only took 30 minutes into Cardiff.

We should have had two twin bed rooms but were given double (although ��10 was taken off of the room bill).Someone decided to start playing rave music at 3am on our floor. This went on for about an hour. The shower head holder was broke. There was a window in the bathroom but it didn't open. There was a smell coming from the sanitary pump at the back of the toilet. The area around the hotel looked very 'unsafe' for a group of women to walk back from the train station at mid-night.

The staff was rather friendly.

Doesn't take credit card; Most of the time, you have to use the pub entrance to get to the hotel (there's an entrance at the hotel but it's usually locked) and all their pub customers seemed to stop and stare; they don't take out the rubbish in the room even when the bin is full; The hotel is on a rather questionable street (dodgy side of the town); For ��60 a night, all they have on the breakfast table are a couple loaves of bread, a toaster, a box of corn flakes and weetabix.
