Very Comfortable

Helpfulness of StaffBreakfast very good although we were surprised that despite being offered on the menu ,black pudding was not available and friends were advised that you had run out of eggs !

I will definitely use this hotel in preference to any other in this area.

Lovely food, pretty establishment, so nice to look out onto and eat by the river.

The only bad points - 1 unclean towel and a pile of cigarette ends under table (outside restaurant seating)- were immediately dealt with by the staff once they were informed.

Overall a very good hotel.

Hotel and room were lovely - Very high standard of cleanliness throughout.Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and friendly staff.

Our check in was dealt with efficiently, but it was not a very friendly welcome.It was difficult to locate a restaurant menu and on reading it we were a little disappointed with the food options and prices.

OK..but wouldnt reccommend or choose again myself

Staff on reception were good

Dirty marks on doors, shower was pitiful and there was no mirror by the sink (how can you wet shave!!!)

Overpriced, needs modernisation.

I thought breakfast was included, it was not. Room had confetti in it. No tea, not much milk or sugar. When I asked for mor I was given 5 teabags and 2 milks! Sausages were cold on one side for breakfast. Evening meal was over priced.

Apart from these small problems we had a good stay overall. We would definately recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Lovely hotel in lovely setting. Staff were excellent especially the receptionist nothing too much trouble.

The oil used to cook it was very bitter and chips were horrible.Wake up call did not happen.Alcohol very expensive.
