enjoyable three day stay

freindly and helpful staff. excellent food

found a copy of mayfair under the bed on the day of departure.my wife and i didnt no if this was standard procedure to receive a free copy of this magazine or just a bit of a mishap from the cleaner

good service but the quality of the room depends on the one they give you : I saw another room (of friends staying with us) and it was much better

staff very charming and warm

my room was noisy and i asked to change after the firts night -- the second one was quiet but dark (no view with the window), small and a bit old (moisted wall)

Stay was plesent, But booking gain I would make sure that the above had been looked into

Staff very attentive, at recepion and breakfast.

Very bad squeeky floor boards, asked for a double room which I thought would be a double bed, very disappointed that it was 2 single, had trouble locking our room but did not realise their was 2 keys, when we spoke to the man on reception, he did not know what the other key was for, arriving late afternoon we had a coffee, not enough to see us through until the morning.

Quite pleasant

Very well priced, clean, good breakfast

The matress was a little uncomfotable causing a restless nights sleep

Very friendly staff. Great location for Edinburgh and Borders.
