A rare oasis that all four of us agreed we would visit again for pleasure as well as business. The food is exceptional.

very god value; truly excellent food; helpful and courteous staff who went out of their way to deliver outstanding service; fantastic location. The four of us having checked out in the morning and later, after returning to the hotel to pick up bags and cars following several hours of wet and very muddy mountain biking, the hotel was kind enough to provide a room for very dirty bikers to shower and change before heading back to London. This despite the hotel being effectively closed for a wedding. A remarkably kind and unlooked for level of service.

Acceptable but wouldn't go again.

Nice to get away from the children!

Evening meal - poor quality for the price charged.No shower.

We were only staying one night on the way down to Cornwall, the room was lovely (blanket aside) and I felt rested for the remainder of the drive so all in all it served its purpose. If I went again I wouldn't eat at the restaurant.

The room was beautiful and the staff were friendly.

The bed still had blankets! I thought in this day and age everywhere would have duvets by now.The restaurant has an over inflated opinion of itself, the food was average at best and extremely over priced for what it was.Also at reception tey were not aware that we'd booked and paid online and so there was some hassle at checkout. Luckily for us the exact same thing was happening to the couple in front of us so while they fought most of the battle it make it a bit quicker for us.
