possibly the best hotel i have ever stayed (the other favourite is the hermitage in cervinia, italy). so good that i might not tell anyone about it because they only have 19 rooms and i want to be sure to be able to book in again!

exceptional service from very friendly staff. beautifully equipped room. only time ever that the complimentary dressing gowns actually fit. best value room service. most comfortable bed ever slept in (even better than mine at home). just an utterly brilliant hotel.

A lovely hotel,good service,and lovely staff!!

This is a lovely hotel, very clean an all rooms were individualy decorated to a very high standard.staff were all lovely and very helpful nothing was too much trouble!

The only bad point was,I ordered continental breackfast for 10am and had to ring reception at 10.25 as it still had not arrived and when it did come straight away I might say it took 3trips to get everythin we ordered.but staff where very nice so no complaints.

On the whole surprised how well the hotel coped with the problems of Canal Street

THE MANAGEMENT MADE AN EFFORT TO WORK THE HOTEL WEEL.

Lights in bathroom were not all working and even if they were its not bright enough. Lift too slow.

Overall a wonderful stay, we cannot fault the staff nor the hotel. Perfectly situated, amazingly modern yet classy rooms, more spacious than expected & SO peaceful to sleep in. A luxury hotel at very affordable prices.

Excellent service, reception from friendly staff, atmosphere.The quality of the food & complimentary items were top notch & the bed was the best I've ever slept in. Wi-fi worked fantastically.

Having to go outside to smoke, not offering a discount to hotel customers in the bar or restaurant, & being able to hear the cluttering of the cleaning trolley in the morning.

Staff very pleasant, great value for money, would recommend for couples or friends traveling together.

Fantastic location on the end of Canal Street with a close walk to most everything. Very lush and romantic accomodation, nice room service breakfast, lovely toiletries provided (Burt's Bees brand)in the room.

Somewhat loud at night, due to being between several pubs/nightclubs...not really a problem but might be if you are a light sleeper
