By Car - Leave the M6 motorway at junction 36 and follow the signs for Kendal and Windermere (A590). - After about 30-35 minutes you will come to the sign for Windemere town centre. - Pass through the centre and at the end of the high street turn left into Broad Street. - Turn left at the T-junction and 1 Park Road is on the corner of Park Road. There is car parking for 3 (possibly 4) cars and there is unrestricted parking on Park Road.

Rooms also offer hot chocolate, a variety of Fair Trade teas, and fresh milk. The en suite showers have White Company soaps and shampoos and fluffy bathrobes.

Area Information

There are a wide selection of restaurants and wine bars to choose from in the local area. There is plenty of information about local walks and restaurants. The train station is a 10-minute walk away but if you inform the guest house of your arrival time they will come and collect you.

POLICIES: Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: 25 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 17.5 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable.
