Nice hotel close to Genting Arena. Staff were pleasant. The breakfast was very good.

Disliked: Just parking places very tight. Being disabled I had to get out of the car before parking. I couldn't see any designated disabled parking.

Great! Just a little outdated.

Liked: Lovely staff, great vibe awesome service, beautiful breakfast and really nice lobby
Disliked: Other than lobby the decor is a bit outdated and could do with a nice refit, and the head board behind the bed/ side tables was quite dusty.

Not even worth 1 star!!

Disliked: The rooms where out dated compared to the reception/bar/restaurant. There was a damp and cheesy smell as soon as we walked in the room . There was a damp patch in front of the ensuite door which got worse throughout our stay! Chipped and damaged furniture. Had a do not disturb sign on the door as we didnt want room service and yet still had people knocking on the door several times both mornings! Being rushed to eat our breakfast as it was close to half 9 and the staff wanted to close. And finally, being charged £25 for parking when it was FREE!! A member of staff asked for my vehicle registration but not for my ticket. When i told a member of staff what had happened, they wouldnt give me a refund due to it being a seperate machine!! This was your mistake so i dont see why i had to pay for it!! It was very disappointing and will not be returning!

Disliked: The bed was perhaps the single most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in! The hotel is tired and needs a complete refurbishment.

Pretty poor.

Liked: My room was at the end of a long corridor, which was good in terms of no footfall past the room, but on arrival I realised that my room was separated from the busy A45 by a sizeable bush, nicely adorned with discarded plastic bags. On opening the window, as the room was sweltering hot and had no air-conditioning, I had lots of traffic noise, plus exhaust pollution. On going out that evening for a black-tie dinner, I asked one of the lady receptionists if she could arrange for a fan to be taken up to my room. I also requested a proper bath towel, since when I first got to the room, I found the bathroom only had two hand towels in it. When I returned to the room after my dinner that night, I found that the fan I had been given was faulty. The front grille was broken, and did not fit properly, and on turning it on, the blade knocked the grille on each revolution, so the fan was effectively useless. On checking out the next day I found the receptionist I dealt with not rude, but pretty off-hand, and overall I would describe my experience as pretty poor. I am a business journalist and travel regularly, and have plenty of hotel experiences to compare this too. I would not recommend the Arden Hotel to fellow travellers.
Disliked: Please see above.
