What a beautiful hotel; very pleasant staff; lovely room and the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up. Will definitely stay there again.

The room was lovely; excellent facilities - slippers, robes, fridge, iron, ironing board and safe. Would definitely stay here again - very nice.
Disliked: Problem with cold water tap on sink.

Nice hotel in a great...
Liked: Superb location, with parking, in the centre of Leicester. Everything is as you would expect of a four star hotel. Nice room and bathroom, good breakfast, pleasant and efficient staff.
Disliked: The room was very warm even though we had the window wide open all night. We found this last time we stayed here as well. It makes getting a good night's sleep a little difficult.

A very good hotel has...
Liked: Since my last visit the rooms at the front of the hotel have had secondary double glazing fitted. Therefore, sound insulation is better and no nasty draughts. The bedroom has been decorated in mock medieval baronial: stone simulating wallpaper, thick rugs, period looking light fittings, shields, knight statues, magical sword etc. With a twin bunk additional side area those travelling with children would have plenty to excite the offspring. Additionally, there were some extra fine touches; low level night lights for example.
Disliked: Hot water was very hot and an air lock caused water spurts.
