Fabulous

Liked: The room was very comfy with plenty of room to move. The staff were extremely accommodating. It was close to places to eat.
Disliked: I thought that the bathroom was a little dated and it pooped water on the floor in the corner.

Disliked: Lift access to the top floors was tricky and very small.

Short stay

Liked: Welcoming staff . Clean bathroom.
Disliked: Very dated room, the bed base was best left unseen, the carpet poor. The lift was very claustrophobic and the parking if you were a lady travelling on your own, difficult. The room was very hot despite a fan. However, I received a nice letter from Best Western explaining they had started a program of refurbishment , so it is only fair to give them a chance to put things right. The staff were welcoming. The price was fair for the location .

Good

Liked: A typical British hotel, could do with a small amount of bedroom refurbishment
Disliked: The dreadful steak I was served up with last night, for a meal total of 51 I expect far better quality of food and why bother with a side plate if you do not give out bread at all

Good location, poor service.

Liked: Great location.
Disliked: The lift was very shaky and there is a sign saying that maximum 2 people WITHOUT luggage can fit. The room was tired and unbearably hot: there was a fan but that hardly helped. The receptionist was pleasant but had no welcoming smile... in fact there were a couple of staff milling around but none even looked at us when we arrived. We waited about 5 minutes before our presence was acknowledged. We left something in the room but when I went back in after we had checked out and the room had been cleaned, the item was not there: reception said nothing had been handed in! Breakfast was ok, nothing special. For the price we paid the hotel was very disappointing. Do these people never train to be welcoming?

Liked: refurbished bright modern bar, restaurant.Good location
Disliked: Room was unbelievable old fashioned, carpet full of stains, bathroom must date back to the seventies paid extra upgrade to executive room don't what executives would be happy with this room. Mistakenly thought room would be modern like entrance bar and restaurant area.Breakfast was very poor, not offered tea or coffee had to ask as no bothered to ask us, hot food was constantly out 3 visits to get a full breakfast
