Liked: Comfortable and quiet. Short taxi ride from station. Would use again.
Disliked: Not so much a dislike, but no hanging facility. If used again will bring own hangers.

Had a good nights sleep...
Liked: Clean modern room with on suite with tea and coffee making facilities. Although quiet overnight the room is definitely not sound proof as we could clearly hear voices and movement above and to the side of us.
Disliked: Location - had we seen it at day time we would probably not have stayed. The photo only shows a back garden via a window. There is only one room available which is a converted garage and to us the location is rather down market. The parking is not private, it is on street or in our case directed to a nearby corner pavement. Photos taken on bin collection day but give a good indication of the surrounding area.

Satisfactory for somewhere to sleep...
Liked: Proprietor was very helpful and keen to make up for some confusion about my arrival time (did the message about a change go through the Booking.com system correctly ?). Room felt slightly odd (door straight from street and no link with main house) and it's a stretch to call it a 'guesthouse', but it was clean, warm and comfortable, with a good shower.
Disliked: Some details, like nowhere to hang clothes and no coffee. And I'm no fan of Milton Keynes: fine if you drive but it's awful for pedestrians using this location.

Not what I expected, over...
Liked: Bed was comfortable
Was allowed to check in early.
Reasonable walk into town.
Disliked: This is a converted garage in a terraced house. Parking depends on where the neighbours have already parked. It's just a very narrow cul-de-sac. Electric socket was not fully screwed to the wall. TV didn't work at all, just said it was updating. Wifi didn't work when I arrived but was fixed later in the day. To be fair, I didn't have time to ask about these things, so it is possible they could have been resolved. It was not what I expected. Would have been happier if the price had been less, could have stayed at a national chain of hotels for a couple of pounds more.
