Disappointing, noisy and worn around...

Liked: The breakfast was basic hotel fare. Coffee varied from good to unpalatable. Room was noisy and oddly shaped and the bathroom needed decorating and modernising. Altogether dissappointing.
Disliked: The hotel, at least the room I stayed in, needs a thorough redecoration and modernisation - my bathroom (very 1970s) was bigger than the bedroom, which was noisy from external air conditioning vents. Would not stay again.

Disappointing - in the American...

Liked: Nice staff. But that was all there was to like.
Disliked: Bedroom door did not close. The concierge had to bring his own screwdriver. The bathroom door would not close. Very badly aligned door frame Lavatory seat was dangerously loose. an accident waiting to happen Bedroom air-conditioning ran very cold only. Impossible actually to turn it off. This expensive (180) room was a long way from reception. 39 stairs along the way, after using the lift to the correct floor. A real rabbit warren of stairs and back corridors. This room was not offered in a good enough state to warrant a premium price.

Like steping back in time...

Liked: Really friendly porter got the lift for us.
Disliked: Room was small, shabby and really out dated. The bed was hard and i could feel the springs and we were given a room right next to the lift so we could hear people coming in from their nights out allnight. Also checking in the receptionist was really rude and she said our room number out loud!
