Many of the rooms have large 6-foot king-size beds and all of the stylish en suite rooms are serviced daily. With just 9 rooms, all guests receive personalised, attentive, individual service. A full traditional Devonshire breakfast, featuring high-quality, locally sourced produce from nearby farms, is available daily and is included in the price. With a quiet, relaxing atmosphere and an attractive, peaceful rural setting, the lodge is great for a restful, restorative break.

Fairway Lodge has 9 rooms, 2 of which have a standard double bed and 5 of which are available with 2 twin single beds or with one king-size double bed. There are also 2 family rooms, one of which can accommodate 2 adults and one child, while the other can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. 3 of the rooms are lodge-type rooms with direct access to the outside and these rooms can accommodate pets (on prior arrangement).

Area Information

Fairway Lodge faces south and looks out over the high moor, which is less than 10 minutes away. The Ashbury golf course is only a couple of minutes away and Thorndon Cross, where the hotel is situated, is right in the middle of Devon. As such, the lodge offers easy access to Exmoor and the beaches of North and South Devon. Most of north Cornwall is within an hour’s drive.

POLICIES: Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. Extra beds are not available. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: 20 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 17.5 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable.
