Liked: Staff and facilities were fantastic.We had an evening meal the restaurant and it was stunning, perfect evening. The waiter was lovely!
Disliked: The walls were a teeny bit thin.

Liked: Staff were lovely, calm environment, and oh, there was parking and great proximity to city centre when driving.
Disliked: It could do with a touch of renovation especially with the furnishing as a 4 star hotel.

Pleasant stay, decor tired, customer...
Liked: The breakfast was pleasant and plentiful, the staff were pleasant and helpful in the breakfast area. Likewise the cleaning staff we came across also greeted us and the lady on reception on Monday 4/2/19 was really pleasant. This lady said Good Morning when she saw us and on checking out she was smiley, friendly and even when answering the phone asked if she could ring the person back as she had customers waiting to check out i.e. me and my husband, customer service rating for this individual = Very Good. The hotel was clean and tidy too.
Disliked: The receptionist on our arrival Friday 1st February was moaning to a colleague about someone wanting to switch rooms and ignored us as we stood waiting to check in. She then answered the telephone again without acknowledging our presence even though we had been standing there for sometime by now, this was rude and did not give us a good impression of customer service on our arrival. Customer service rating for this individual = Poor. My only other quibble was that the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable.

Not the best
Liked: The entrance looks great and staff were welcoming.
Disliked: On check in advised I had already paid but was told I hadn?t. Rang booking.com and had to check my bank which I was right about and I check out. I approached the young man again and said I have spoken to booking.com he then said he?d cancelled my charge as he had someone?s booking over mine do effectively I had paid for someone?s room. If I hadn?t persevered with this wonder whether I?d have been told. He did apologise and offer 20percent of the food bill the previous night. The rooms were freezing cold on arrival and the heating wasn?t working well and the shower was freezing. Beds are comfortable that?s the only positive thing and the restaurant I shall not comment it put me off not to have breakfast. Will be contacting a manager regarding my stay as this was below average for a 4 star graded hotel.
