Helpful and pleasant staff. Hotel in a close location to the city centre and the NIA. Beds were very comfortable; we will return on our next visit to Birmingham.
Liked: Great location; quiet room.
Disliked: Breakfast was slow on refills of scrambled egg.

Overall this met our need: for a clean comfortable hotel near to Symphony Hall, which it certainly was. However, the breakfast was really disappointing and was not good quality. The breakfast area was more like a canteen and seating was limited. Staff were friendly.
Liked: Very clean; room was lovely; excellent quality; fantastic shower.
Disliked: The breakfast area is really cluttered and is not suited for a relaxing breakfast. The scrambled eggs were not real eggs, they were awful. No instructions on the hot drink machine or microwave which led to delays and the staff having to repeat instructions over and over again. Long queue to check in.

Enjoyed my stay here, and would happily stop here again if I was staying in Birmingham.
Liked: Comfortable, everything you need.
Disliked: A few loose fixtures (like a light bulb). Nothing major - were easily sorted myself.

Good for a night stay...
Liked: Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is modern and very clean. The bedrooms are a good size and have tea and coffee making facilities. Excellent dinner menu
Disliked: We ate in the restaurant but it was so busy with groups of people having drinks after work. They were well behaved but just a loud environment

On the whole, we had...
Liked: Lovely beds - very comfortable, with cotton bedding. Great shower.
An amazing breakfast - such a wide choice, of everything you could think of!
Our room was clean, and quiet
We had a taxi to the Arena (£5), but we walked back, because one taxi wanted £20 to take us back to the hotel!!! We could've walked there too, but we weren't sure of the area. If we went again, we would definitely walk there.
Disliked: No curtains! !! Yes, voile curtains, but nothing else! At this time of year, it gets light so early in the morning, that curtains are needed. The air conditioning could have been more controlable, because the windows didn't open. The car park - we couldn't find a space for a while, and when we did, we had to carry everything up the ramp, to get to the Hotel entrance, which wasn't ideal
