A trip down memory lane,...
Liked: Breakfast and dinner both excellent, with lots of choice. The range of beers and wines was very good as was the coffee.
In the room the heating and shower were very good and the aspect from the garden room window was very pleasant.
Keep up the good work in restoring and maintaining this historical property.
Disliked: The mattress was a little firm for our liking. We would have liked to have seen a little more accurate information on the history of the building and previous owners in the room information folder or in reception. For example the Honourable Mr and Mrs Bowlby, Penelope Bowlby being the daughter of the Portman's, were resident in the premises for many years prior to it being left vacant. The family were very involved in racehorses yet there were no historical pictures around the manor depicting this.
