Holiday inn express
Liked: Great location.Helpful friendly staff.
Disliked: There wasn't anything I didn't like.A duvet should be provided for the sofa bed in the room for a family of 4.

Liked: Ideal location. Walking distance to media city which was our reason for being there. Manchester United football ground could be seen from our room window and there where some nice restaurants within walking distance. The Lowry shopping outlet was also only a few minutes walk along the quayside which was nice.

I am impressed by the...

Liked: Good check in times. 2pm onwards and out by 12pm. We left at 9.30am but it's nice to have the option to stay later. The ladies on reception were very polite and friendly. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Nice breakfast in the morning. Cereals and English (bacon, sausage, beans, scrambled egg, toast). Help yourself to as much as you want. The location is excellent, sitting on the waterfront where swans and geese sail by. There are lots of places to eat and drink on this complex and the tram is a minutes walk away. We were here for the "Slayer" gig at The Manchester Arena and the tram gets you there (with one quick change) in about 25 mins for £3 each.
Disliked: There is nothing really to complain about! The only thing that was a little unclear was whether you are allowed to use a "vape" in the room. This is not allowed which is not a problem but the No Smoking signs do not mention vapes. Oh and a view of Man Utds Old Trafford ground about half a mile away from our fifth floor window. We support Liverpool!
