It was okay.

Liked: I liked this hotel and staff were very nice the only down fall was we were put in a wheel chair room which was a wet room for the bathroom and it kind of upset our stay when neither me or my partner are in a wheel chair
Disliked: A nicer room

Liked: It?s snazzy when you go in the entrance, and that?s what sold it to me. The breakfast was decent, and the location is *great*
Disliked: The floor had stains all over it (bleach?) begging the question how ?new? are the ?new ibis rooms?? I couldn?t work the lights out on the night, so getting ready was an effort. The bed was rock hard. Some people like them that way - that?s not me. Back ache 2 days later. The TV sounded tinny, and no volume options on the remote? I just couldn?t hear it (only an hour in the afternoon not a big deal but if you?re one for your telly!) I wasn?t a fan of the decor, looked like a nursery. And the real issue - I specifically ticked ?quiet room? on booking and wrote ?a quiet room please!? - I was put street-front. I figured it would be quiet by the early hours when I?d be back, but boy was I wrong. I read it was a little loud and thought nothing of it. Believe me it?s loud - it wasn?t silent until 5/6am. They supply earplugs but they?re uncomfortable, and as someone else pointed out you could sleep through an alarm (fire - Or wake up call). I mentioned the quiet room situation on check-out and was given a free breakfast, which was decent of them, but it still made the whole hotel experience extortionately overpriced at 115 pn.
