Overall very pleasant.
Liked: Loved the bathroom. Bath was huge!! Very modern and clean.
Staff were very accommodating. Changes our room when we checked in to a lower floor as one of the guests had bad knees.
Location was fantastic. Minutes walk to the beach.
Disliked: The room was cold and we couldn?t adjust the heat so was a chilly nights sleep! Breakfast was ok but basic. Not much variety.

Liked: Staff were very attentive and sorted out an electrical problem in our room promptly. Hotel has a wonderful location near the seafront, pier and shops. It is a traditional English seaside hotel, no frills but warm and comfortable. Amazingly though the room had a fridge!! It is wonderful to walk the 1.33 miles to the end of the pier and catch the train back!
Disliked: Would have liked more in the way of morning fruit salad with the breakfast but the full English (no mushrooms:( ) was adequate and kept you going 'til lunch time.

A GAME OF 2 HALVES
Liked: We booked this hotel simply because it was a 10 minute stroll to the Cliffs Pavilion Theatre. The check in process was straight forward and the room was clean, comfortable and all the facilities needed were there. We ate in the small hotel restaurant on the first night and the quality of both the food and service were excellent. So good in fact, that we decided to eat there again the following evening. This is where it slightly fell apart. A change of staff from the night before were still very friendly but the service took a nose dive. Firstly, a quarter of the menu was not available as the chef had not prepared pizza dough so we ordered 2 panini's, a bowl of chips and onion rings. This took over 40 minutes to arrive and had to be wolfed down in order to get to the theatre on time. There was no sign of any staff during this 40 minutes to quiz about the delay. The breakfast on both days was self service with staff on hand to help if needed and was very good. Location is good for that theatre but quite a walk to the town centre.
Disliked: Inconsistent service, but not a major issue. Would still stay there again.

Excellent and great location.
Liked: Although when I walked in the Hotel looked in need of some refurbishment work it was ok. When we arrived in the room we thought it was excellent and very modern with everything you could have wanted. The bathroom was brand new is very nicely decorated.
Disliked: Carpets in communal area in need of updating.
