Originally built around 1870, this magnificent Victorian property retains many original features and is bursting with character. All the rooms have a light, airy feel and the cosy lounge is a relaxing place to enjoy a drink from the bar, or simply to chill-out. Games and literature provided.

Room Information

Now completely refurbished throughout, all rooms are modern and stylish, whilst retaining the period character of the property. All rooms are on the 1st or 2nd floor. There is a Twin room on the 1st floor (subject to availability).

You couldn't select a better location from which to enjoy the whole of the Lake District, be it by car, train, bus or on foot. We are a convenient 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stops and train station, and a 15-minute stroll from Lake Windermere.

Important Information

Jerichos at the Waverley does not have a lift. All rooms are on the 1st or 2nd floor. To dine in the restaurant, please book a table before arrival.

Hotel Policies

POLICIES: Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children older than 5 years are welcome. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: 100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 17.5 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free private parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
