Do not stay here!

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: The Staff were rude and unfriendly, there was health and safety hazards all over the hotel. Our floor was damp. A request for an extra pillow fell on deaf ears. I could go on all day. This place makes faulty towers look like The Ritz.

Do yourself a favour..........go somewhere...

Liked: There was absolutely nothing to like about this hotel, from the filthy scaled-up toilet, to the broken furniture, pubic hairs in the bowl that held the sachets of coffee and the shower that didn't work. Had the city not been booked solid, due to a music convention and various other events going on, we'd have been out of there like a shot. To say we dreaded going back there each night is an understatement of the highest order. It totally spoilt what should have been a wonderful weekend away for us. Horrible, dirty, unsafe, unsavoury place that I will happily never set foot in again. The saddest thing of all for us, is that we had actually booked an extra night either side of the two nights originally booked as we realised it was a bank holiday weekend, so we decided to extend our stay in Leicester. Poor us.
Disliked: Everything could have been better. The 'hotel' was filthy, in very shabby condition and downright dangerous ( blocked fire exits for a start!). The 'breakfast' consisted of ancient cereals and mouldy bread. ( one added extra was the dirty, broken old sinks and pipework stored UNDER the breakfast table!) The staff were rude, to the point of calling us liars when we pointed out defects. Our room (17) was on the top floor, up a very old, twisty staircase, which was covered in paint stains and goodness only knows what stickiness. Fire doors were propped open with aerosol cans and the fire escape itself was so shabby and rickety-looking that I'd have taken my chances and jumped out of the window if the place had gone up in flames. Ah, but the windows didn't open and the louvred parts of them had evidently been stuck together with gaffer/duct tape at some point, but had been ripped off, leaving a filthy, sticky residue behind. We went out and bought cleaning materials so we felt a bit cleaner. Nice touch though, was the lavatory brush covered in dried on toilet paper and faeces. Nice? NOT..........equally unpleasant was the broken, hanging off the wall toilet roll holder..........and the fact that your knees could touch the wall when sitting on the loo........overall, a dirty, filthy, neglected, unsafe and horrible experience ( and I have little bite marks over my body too...............I despair). If this hotel was an animal, it would have been gently put to sleep/euthanized some time ago. If they decide to do this to The Victoria 'Hotel', i'll be there to gently hold its hand as it fades into a final, gentle sleep. You only get points because don't allow for zero scores

Worse than bad.. unbelievable dump!

Liked: The place is a total dump. I cannot begin to say hiw utterky bad it was. It was Dirty, stale breakfasts, looks derelict throughout, fire escape violations, not like advertised photos. Do not stay here... ever! I have reported to environmental health and fire department.
Disliked: Dirty, terrible state, No hot water, shared bathrooms, terrible stale breakfasts, holes in walls and ceilings, broken electrical fittings hanging off wals and ceilings, furnature in front of fire exits... Just the worst hotel I have ever been to.

Very poor

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: This is the worst hotel I have a EVER stayed in. It was a wreck, stank was damp and dirty. Hard to explain just how awful this add is. It should be shut down and demolished - they are ripping people off. No point complaining as they have your money in advance. Staff were obviously embarrassed to work there and were quite rude - check out was at 11am and at 11.01 they knocked in my door and shouted if I wasn't out in 5 minutes I'd be charged 5. AVOID THIS PLACE. It's not a hotel it's a doss house.
