Liked: Friendly staff and location.
Disliked: They did appear a little short staffed for a busy weekend. Wait times for drinks longer than expected

Great location especially if you...
Liked: The hotel is opposite the train station and not from from the shops (10 mins walk). Free fresh fruit in reception. The room was clean and had a good shower over a bath.
Disliked: our first room had a drain smell but the hotel staff did not quibble and changed our room immediately with an apology. These things happen, it's how the issue is dealt with that's important to me.

Wonderful stay, could not fault...
Liked: The Rougemeont is fantastic, the rooms are very luxurious (superior room) and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, very hot and plenty of choice for 4 children and 5 adults. The staff were very accommodating with our requirements and always had a welcoming smile. I would not hesitate in booking again and we will return.
Disliked: parking a little limited

Great hotel directly opposite Exeter...
Liked: Reception and breakfast staff awesome
Disliked: My double bed was two twins that kept separating-there were no double beds available even though I had asked for a double room. Maybe they assumed I would not mind as single occupancy..but I did-not the most comfortable of nights...I am nearly 6 foot.. but overall pleased with the hotel. The staff were a little slow in the bar initially for dinner-I had to go up a few times to get served but then they were quite attentive and helpful.

A touch of luxury and...
Liked: The beds are extra comfy...the room was immaculate and the bathroom and shower were lovely and spacious.
Disliked: I can honestly say there was nothing I didn't like...I have stayed a few times here and apart from a hiccup once which was dealt with professionally and promptly by the management every stay has been perfect.
