Fabulous, perfect location and fantastic...

Liked: Fantastic location, lovely rooms and bar, fantastic staff who made my husbands 40th birthday even better with an upgrade. Really impressed and we?ll stay again. Thank you.

Good hotel in Oxford City...

Liked: Considerate staff, quiet building, great location
Disliked: Breakfast was not included and the mattress was poor quality.

Liked: Unfortunately not a lot. The hallways are very narrow, access to our room was up 3 flights of stairs. This was not as advertised at all.
Disliked: The staff at the front desk seemed unorganised. Everything was too small. Not as advertised at all

Nice location but small rooms...hubby...

Liked: The public spaces were posh and elegant and the staff both helpful and friendly. The location near High Street and Oxford Exam buildings and Christ Church College Green was both convenient and pleasant.
Disliked: We had been looking forward to staying at this hotel for many years (son at Oxford), so it came as a great disappointment to us that the rooms were so small that circulation around the bed nearly impossible. The bathroom was equally tight, with a tiny shower and sink (shelf space was adequate however). The lift did not make it up to the 3rd floor, requiring that we carry our heavy bags one more level up the spiraling stair. My husband, who is 6'-5" tall, would hit his head at the corner of the rooms (under the eaves?).All in, we're having 2nd thoughts about returning for graduation (we had pre-booked rooms).

Liked: Location excellent, for the function we were attending, and very easy access to shops and train station.
Disliked: Told that car park was not available, when we arrived the car park was in operation.

An excellent hotel in almost...

Liked: Upscale hotel on a central but quiet location. Perfect
Disliked: The only negative was a late arriving guest that had to make a 4am phone call. The walls were not insulating enough to prevent her waking us up.

Very very expensive for what...

Liked: Good breakfast. Great location
Disliked: View from room was a brick wall, very loud extractor fan outside our window. Radiator jammed on high with no control. Towels hard and rough ie:- haven?t been tumble dried. Pillows horrible. Doesn?t feel like 4* hotel.
