Very central position in Richmond...

Liked: Our room number 5 was spacious, comfortable and quiet, especially as the accommodation was upstairs from the pub/restaurant.
Disliked: Shower door was unstable, needed attention

A good hotel, if a...

Liked: The room was very quiet despite being above a pub and on a busy road. The room decor was imaginative, though now probably a little dated, Altogether a good experience. I've stayed here before and will do so again.
Disliked: The shower had bits missing (nothing vital!) and the television seemed reluctant to fire up (and had unexplained loose cables dangling underneath it). The price was a little high - more Kensington than Richmond.

Liked: Very comfortable bed - airconditioned room, large bathroom
Disliked: I didn't realise that the building doesn't have a lift and the top floor needs climbing narrow stairs

Not up to expections considering...

Liked: Literally next door to the Orange Tree Theatre where I was going that night. Only reason I booked the hotel due to it's close location.
Disliked: Bed was like concrete, pillows like rocks. Shower so hot I couldn't use it and scalded my arm switching it off. Breakfast stated from 7am. Got down at 7am (due to early start home), staff disorganised. Had to ask repeatedly for milk for cereals. Bread for toast eventually arrived. Didn't bother with the full English I'd paid for as I suspected it would take forever and needed to leave at 7.45am. One member of staff was just stood behind bar drinking her orange and seemingly oblivious to actually looking after the guests! If I ever attend the theatre there again, I'll book into the Premier Inn down the road....................

Great place to stay convenient...

Liked: Friendly staff. Opposite railway station. In the centre of Richmond. Close to Kew Gardens. Nice boutique hotel. Clean rooms. Absolutely no complaints.
Disliked: Pub downstairs - a little noisy.
