Faultless accommodation, location and staff....
Liked: We stayed in one of the Beach Houses. We loved everything: the room,, hotel cleanliness, parking and location. The breakfast was superb with very attentive staff throughout the building.Make no mistake, this is a classy place at three star prices and five star service. Brilliant.
Disliked: There is nothing that could be improved.

So glad we found it!
Liked: Everything! The staff were so helpful, polite and cheery. The room was bright, clean, comfortable and full of useful extras oh and we loved the record player with a few records...Great idea!We had a delicious lunch and then dinner with a superb, unintrusive waiter who just kept filling our glasses from our bottle of wine.I just wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed the view. We booked to return in the spring so maybe the weather will be better then and were going to try the spa facilities then too.
Disliked: Very, very little. If I was to be really picky, I would say I didn't like the salt and pepper grinders as they were a bit temperamental.

Great for a short stay...
Liked: The relatively quiet location; conveniently situated in Thorpe Bay seafront but set-back from the Esplanade (and with free off-street parking). Pleasantly designed bar / dining / breakfast areas.
Disliked: It was our first visit stay at this particular Hotel and we arrived v. late in the evening having been at a funeral in the afternoon. Our arrival resulted in being given a room that we felt was sub-standard; perhaps there was simply no other room, I didn't enquire about that and staff did not advise at the point of checking-in. We did, however, very politely express our collective displeasure at check-out and were offered just £10.00 off the cost price of £89.00...we didn't have more time to spare to talk to the Manager so accepted and checked-out. All very well; one might opine - although my view is that the Roslin Beach Hotel staff knew that the room was both small, awkwardly configured, that the 1st floor room and its single window were immediately adjacent to the air-con units (noisy) and industrial. The bed itself seemed to overpower the room because one had to literally squeeze past to get from one side to the other i.e. not as relaxing as it could have been. There are other things to worry about in life it's true! There is one thing and that we felt the staff should at least have informed us about the room and its idiosyncrasies when we checked-in..
