Perfect place to stay in...

Liked: The location was perfect, in the West End of Glasgow, close to the University of Glasgow and the Kelvingrove Park + Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum - and in an area with many good restaurants. It was also close to the SSE Hydro and the Mitchell Library, where we attended events. We got a very good and quiet room on the same floor as the reception - faced to the back, so no traffic could be heard at all! The breakfast was good - Scottish breakfast with a free choice of eggs + toast & cereals + yoghurt. We arrived late (after the latest check-in time according to Booking.com), but that was no problem, as the reception is manned at all times.

Okay value for one night

Liked: Room fine for price
Disliked: To much noise from outside probably not hotels fault. To much road noise.

Good for a short stay!

Liked: The bed was extremely comfortable, such a great sleep both nights. Room was a decent size, and easily heated. View wasn?t great but we weren?t there for the view. Bathroom was very clean. Perfect location, 30 min walk into town, and a 15 minute walk from the hydro where we had a concert. Staff were extremely friendly, and loved that you had to leave your key at the desk (which is 24h) so we didn?t worry about losing it. The staff were very friendly whenever we interacted. I was excited about trying the breakfast, but I never woke up in time as there wasn?t a wide window for it.
Disliked: The window had cobwebs all over the corners. The shower was difficult to use as it was very stiff. Only one towel, but that was alright. Heating set to full on arrival, so far too hot in the room. Ledge above the bathroom is caked in dust as nobody has ever thought to clean there. Breakfast was far too early and only for an hour or two. 7.00-8.30? I think. And only a bit later on the weekend. So we didn?t manage to make it to that. Also, while we were in bed trying to sleep in the morning we had room service knocking and when we didn?t wake up, they unlocked the door and came in the room. (We could have been naked) maybe have the option to use a sign for do not disturb! Other than those small things we really enjoyed our stay.

Friendly, super helpful staff and...

Liked: The location is very convenient; the city centre area can be reached in a few minutes walk. Also, right behind the hotel, there is the amazing Kelvingrove Park. Still, what we really appreciate the most was the friendly staff. Each and every single one of them were extremely polite and kind, always available and super helpful. We really enjoyed breakfast as well. Quality and quantity were perfect. We do recommend this hotel and should we go back to Glasgow, then we would definitely choose it again.
Disliked: Nothing, everything was perfect.
