Liked: Bed was huge and really comfy, room was lovely
Disliked: Lighting wasn?t very good, couldn?t see to do our makeup. Bluetooth speaker didn?t work and no phone to ring reception

Liked: Location was excellent
SOME staff were really lovely - others were not
Food was very nice and the reception restaurant area is very warming
Jaccuzi bath was lovely
Disliked: We had been told we could request an early check in which we did however upon arrival the girl we dealt with was most unhelpful not only did she state we can't check in until 3 despite us making the request, she did not offer a hold service for our luggage so we could go into the city. When we got to our room there was a vent of some sort which was nothing to do with the air or heating of the room and it was constantly letting in air and added noise from the street. The room we had been given was directly beside the lift which could be heard ALL night long with guests of all types. Some quiet but many noisy from hen or group parties. I had no idea that the style of this hotel provided facilities for hens or stags until after booking receiving a booking confirmation email stating our purchase was non refundable (which we had already been aware of) but also offering the packages that can be added to our stay which was where all the stag and hen party offers were listed (which were not stated previously and we had been unaware of). As we were over for a comedian show and a little look at Liverpool itself we had wanted a somewhat stylish classy hotel which on first appearance it seemed until the noise of the guests coming home at the early hours of the morning soon changed our view. The heating worked at first but could not get it back on when we arrived home that evening and when wanting to contact main reception for this we found that the telephone was out of order! In turn this left us using our mobile to go through the pre recorded switch board for all signature living and selecting the options to our hotel reception to make them aware of the heating situation. The lady on reception was helpful and said she could connect with it from the master thermostat at her desk and set it to heat which was good at the time but it did not stay on for longer than 15 minutes and we just ended up putting an extra blanket over us rather than go through phone again!

Fancy hotel with lovely staff
Liked: I loved the baths in our room! The staff were also very lovely
Disliked: The double beds were two singles pushed together and made as if they were two single beds, for example two single sheets, two single duvets. I would say this is the only fault of the hotel

Liked: I love the concept of the hotel, everyone able to stay in the same room. Felt like an adult slumber party, was great find I had to wrangle a complimentary breakfast out of the hotel after some initial issues. The food was yum, and the selection was varied.
Disliked: The hotel needs a bit of looking after. The shower had a lot of limescale so it wasn?t running correctly. The towel rack broke as soon as we arrived. The bathroom lock was broken and we found it on the floor the first morning. The wallpaper in the room was torn in places. The entire hotel could do with some TLC.The reception staff could do with some customer service training. We had some issues upon arrival and from the moment we arrived it took 2 hours for us to actually get into our room. We were only offered a free cocktail five minutes before we finally got into a suitable room. A bit more care whilst we were inconvenienced would have been nice.

Liked: The rooms are beautiful
Disliked: The restaurant the food was cold some of the main course came out cold by the time 6'had finished 2 main courses still hadn't been brought out,the waitress was lovely and we did get complimentary drinks,but all meals were pre-ordered 48hours previously,we were a party of 12 celebrating my daughters graduation and her boyfriend proposed so it did put a bit of a downer on the evening.
