Lovely place to stay but limited breakfast items for a healthy eater.
Liked: Nice; quiet; clean.
Disliked: No fruit or yoghurt at breakfast.

Don't think I want to stay there again. Sorry, but I was very disappointed.
Liked: Nice room. Clean bedding and towels.
Disliked: Was kept waiting for my room for 45 minutes; should have checked in at 2pm, instead it was 3.50pm. Room was nice, apart from the ceiling which had brown plaster on it. Plus, a wall socket nearly came off the wall when I pulled my phone charger out.

Disliked: Mattress needs to be replaced as the springs started to make noises and you could feel them. Informed Hotel staff.

Liked: Sorry I could not recommend this hotel.
Disliked: First of all, my bank details were scammed, which put me off going to the hotel. I also had a stained duvet cover. The light over the washbasin did not work and the extractor fan was extremely noisy. I reported all this to the staff. The duvet cover was changed but the light was not attended to. The person on the reception desk did not understand English.

Liked: The price and the kettle was clean, breakfast was ok
Disliked: It was dirty, beds were not comfy, shower was a hazard so did not use it, bedroom did not function, no bedside lights, so when lights were turned off by door you had to find your bed, my bedside table had drawer missing. Wardrobe could not be used as coat hangers were not attached to the rail, plates in breakfast room were dirty.DO THE STAFF NOT READ THEIR REVIEWS???

Liked: The location is central and free parking, along with signed access from the main road.
Disliked: We had read bad reviews and thought they were written by overly critical people. However the decor is more than outdated with damp patches in the ceiling's in the corridor to the ever creeking floorboards, letting everyone know when you are out of your room. The room, was basic and a good size, however I had to hang the curtain on the curtain rail as it wasnt hooked on properly. The chairs were holed and stained and seen better days as did the mattress, with which the springs were very much felt. One if the radiators didnt work, but the room was still warm, and one of the main lights didnt work, but there were others so not shrouded in darkness. Cleanliness was rushed and the bed had hair on the clean sheets, the cups needed cleaning as something had started to grow at the bottom of it, and there was still rubbish in the room from the last occupants. The bathroom was basic and again not clean, my wife was not happy upon arrival to the room and finding a mouldy dirty shower, along with no hand soap (4 shower gel sachets were provided, i presume for the four of us) we set about charging our phones and finding alternative accommodation. We were only due to stay one night, and given the neglect to the interior and room, doubted the pleasant gent at reception could have made any significant changes to improve our comfort, I checked out stating we would not be staying here. The reason we initially choose this location was because it was advertised as 3 star, and served a breakfast. However considering the issues within the room and interior we were unsurprised to find it had a 1 star hygiene rating. We luckily managed to book into the Days Inn on the M1 services which had a waitrose next door so bought breakfast items from there.

Liked: For the price, three nights for £109-00 I was expecting a ? working men?s ? hotel. But found a lot of families and single ladies. Always reassuring for a older lady travelling on her own
Disliked: The fact it is family run and all the staff were very attentive to my needs
