By Air: The hotel is approximately 40 miles (65 km) from Exeter International Airport. The journey from the airport to the hotel should take about 45 minutes by car. By Car (from the M5 motorway): - Leave the M5 motorway at junction 27 and follow the A361/A39 link road west to Bideford for 46 miles (75 km). - After you have crossed the Torridge River via a high-arched concrete bridge, turn left at the next roundabout and follow the road into Bideford for about 1 mile (1.6 km) until you find yourself driving along the quayside. - At the approach to the old stone bridge, drive straight across the mini-roundabout and you will find Tantons Hotel just 20 metres further on, on the right-hand side. By Train: The nearest train station is Barnstaple, which is approximately 9 miles (15 km) from the hotel. Taxis are readily available from just outside the station or alternatively you can take the bus. By Bus: The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the bus station, which offers good connections to the region’s major bus routes.
